During the Apple iPad event today, CEO Tim Cook casually mentioned that iOS 5.1 will be available today. In addition to Siri support for Japanese, the OS has a few other new tricks, here’s what to expect.
According to Gotta Be Mobile iOS 5.1 includes a redesigned camera app for the iPad, a new way to access the camera from the lockscreen, improvements to iCloud’s Photostream functionality (you can delete photos now!), improved battery life, enhanced face detected capabilities, and a fix for a bug that caused call audio to cut out. The update should be available now for download. [Gotta Be Mobile]
