HTC One X Is Coming To Virgin Mobile

HTC’s One handsets are lining up to be interesting creatures, but the exact details of which carrier would snag which handset hasn’t been clear. The One X has emerged at an unlikely first port of call; it’ll be a Virgin Mobile handset.

Ausdroid spotted the One X on Virgin’s web site, where it has popped up with “early April” availability on what’s claimed to be a “best seller” $59 plan. How do you have a best seller when you’re not selling it yet?

That aside, with Virgin being a wholly owned subsidiary of Optus, it’s reasonable to expect that Optus may end up with the One X as well; this also doesn’t preclude it being a phone available to all carriers as well. [Virgin Mobile via Ausdroid ]
