Earlier in the week, I pondered exactly who was getting HTC’s just-announced HTC One phones. Telstra’s indicated that it’d very much like two Ones.
Delimiter reports on the update to Telstra’s plans, although there’s not a whole lot of detail to play with; an unnamed Telstra representative told Delimiter via email that
“We are taking two HTC One handsets; we haven’t confirmed which ones yet.”
Telstra’s also launched a site where you can (inevitably) pre-register interest in the HTC One handsets, which makes me curious. Not so much about Telstra’s plans, but in how effective that kind of thing is. Pre-ordering a phone I can see the sense in. But expressing interest? Anyone ever done that, and if so, why?
