Sprinkles is the American cupcake shop that’s credited with re-kindling the trend that’s sweeping waistlines. And it will soon make it even easier to get your miniature cake fix — at all hours of the day — with an automated ATM.
The store has officially announced they’re opening what they call the “world’s first cupcake automat” that will dispense not only cupcakes, but also mixes, apparel, and given it will be located in Beverly Hills, trendy dog snacks. And I suspect the ATM will actually be staffed with real people behind the scenes, instead of trying to serve up the frosting covered treats via robotic arms or conveyor belts, which are prone to end in I Love Lucy-esque hilarity.
