The 1100D isn’t a high-end DSLR — it’s very solidly positioned at the entry level of Canon’s DSLR range. Harvey Norman’s offering up the 1100D for an impressivet $386 with EF-S 18-55mm lens; it’d be quite easy to spend that much on a compact camera, so while this isn’t high-end, it’s still a bargain.
