Astronaut Builds Lego ISS Inside ISS

Watch International Space Station astronaut Satoshi Furukawa building a Lego model of the International Space Station inside the International Space Station. I wonder if there’s a minifig version of the International Space Station astronaut Satoshi Furukawa building a Lego model of the Lego International Space Station inside the Lego International Space Station.

It took Furukawa two hours to build the station in zero gravity. The most interesting thing is how he built it, using a glovebox containment enclosure so no pieces could escape and get lost inside the ISS.

Seriously, I don’t now why they took these precautions. Building the ISS inside the ISS inside the ISS inside the ISS seems like tempting fate to me — right now, the spacetime fabric may be ripping and the Universe could get destroyed at any time. [Collect SpaceThanks Francesca!]
