Dozens of alleged Anonymous members have been arrested in a global clampdown, spanning Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Spain.
Coorindated by Interpol, the arrests were carried out by national law enforcement officers around the world. The suspects are aged between 17 and 40, and the Telegraph reports that they “are suspected of planning coordinated cyber-attacks against institutions including Colombia’s defence ministry and presidential websites, Chile’s Endesa electricity company and national library, as well as other targets.” Along with the arrests, over 250 computers and electronic devices were seized.
