Tropfest, the little Aussie short film festival that has become an international success, is celebrating its 20th year this year. To celebrate, the organisers have decided to host Tropfest screening events in even more locations, including Wollongong and New Zealand.
While entries are now closed and judging is taking place, it won’t be long before the 16 finalist films will be screened simultaneously around the country on Sunday February 19. The full list of screening locations is below, but it’s amazing to see how far this festival has travelled, given that it’s now screening in multiple cities in multiple countries. Awesome.
And if you can’t make it to any of those events, Movie Extra will be streaming the event live.
