We knew that Telstra’s first 4G phone would be the HTC Velocity 4G, but we didn’t know exactly when we could buy it or how much it would cost. Now we do!
The handset is all set to land through Telstra stores and partners next Tuesday January 24. It will be available for $0 up front on a $79 cap plan over 24 months, including $800 worth of calls and MMS, unlimited SMS and 2GB of data.
Telstra is also allowing customers to pre-purchase the handset and have it delivered to their door on January 24, rather than having to head outdoors to get one.
Now that we know all the details (4.5 inch touch screen, 1.5 GHz dual core processor, 8 megapixel camera) including price, who’s getting one?
