Darth Maul Me: Red Face And Spikes? Yes!

The best part about Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, was Darth Maul. He was scary looking and he had a wicked double-bladed lightsabre. Why did Darth Maul have to die? Why? As a tribute, LucasArts just released an app that’ll let you sith yourself up. Darth Maul will live on in all of us, just as Darth Sidious intended.

What’s it do?

Take a photo of yourself. Make a few adjustments and you’ll see what you would look like as a Dathomirian Zabrak. Seriously, I had to look up what species Darth Maul was.

Why do we like it?

Darth Maul was badass. Killing him in the first episode was a mistake. Especially when Jar Jar Binks seemed to dodge death at every turn. Making your own version of Darth Maul you can share with your friends on Facebook will have to do for now. Unless Lucas decides to make a Zombie Star Wars movie. I’d probably be fine with that. The app is currently Android only, but an iPhone version will be out in a about a week.
