Win One Of Five 'Apes' Blu-ray Combo Packs

It’s giveaways week here on Gizmodo, and today we're giving away five copies of the surprisingly awesome Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes. Each triple-play pack includes a Blu-ray, DVD and digital copy (in stores now for $38) – and we’ve sourced an Apes T-Shirt to throw-in as well.

And the winners are...David, Benjamin, Rhys, Scott and Mr Taco! Congrats guys!

This competition is now closed. Turns out that Rise of the Planet of the Apes has 1000 digital effect shots — the most Weta has produced for a film since Avatar. Their motion capture tech can now also leave the studio, and this let Andy Serkis interact much more with the other actors.

Earlier this year, Gizmodo Australia sat down with Senior Visual Effects Supervisor, Joe Letteri, to ask how performance capture has progressed since Avatar and Lord of the Rings, and find out if Weta has contemplated video games.

To enter:

Simply watch the video and comment below what question you would ask Joe Letteri/Weta – about this or any other past/future project. Best five questions win the prize!

One enter per person please, Australian residents only. Entries close 10am AEST Monday December 19th. Full terms and conditions here.
