There Are Now Than One Million Mobile Apps To Clutter Your Smartphone

We knew this day would come, and it’s here: there are more than a million apps in the world! Well, actually, as of a few hours ago, there were 1,001,219, according to app-tracker Mobilewalla. Oh happy, bloated day!

Not surprisingly, the nearly 600,000 iOS applications dominate the roughly 300,000 available for Android. Together, iOS and Android dwarf the puny offerings for Blackberry OS and Windows Phone. But the important thing: given how many apps the average person needs to be a fully functional adult human, it looks like there are only 1,001,179 totally useless apps out there! You know, approximately speaking. [Mobilewalla via FoxNews]
