The Brookline Quilted Jacket Is $US500 Of Cold Weather Suaveness

Tell Jack Frost to go suck an egg; Old Man Winter can kick rocks. It doesn’t matter if you’re in a Winter Wonderland or a Class 5 Killstorm, the Engineered Garments Brookline Quilted Jacket will keep you toasty warm in the height of fashion.

The Brookline is reversible — the charcoal striped side is 85 per cent wool and 15 per cent nylon with three exterior pockets and buttons that close all the way up to your neck. The other side is 100 per cent nylon with polyester quilting. It too buttons all the way up to the top with snaps and, being nylon, tolerates moisture better than wool, which gets that musty sheep smell when wet.

The jacket is made in New York and retails for $US495. What, you thought this much swank would be cheap? [Odin NY via Well-Spent ]
