iPhone Facebook App Now Supports Timeline

It surprised some pundits that Facebook updated its Android app to include its new Timeline feature before updating iOS. But it wasn’t a long wait, with the iPhone app getting the update today, and the iPad app destined to get it “soon”.

There are a few differences between the iOS and desktop versions, the largest being that the iPhone app only rocks a single column view. Facebook also reckons the app will run faster thanks to the update.

It’s disappointing that the iPad app hasn’t seen the update yet, but given all that extra real estate space, I’m sure the boffins at Facebook are planning on making it extra special.
