I REALLY Wanted This Slot Car Circuit For Christmas

I love slot cars. I remember building tracks with my dad and my brothers, racing old sports prototypes, old school F1s and two Porsche 911s. One of the cars was the RCR 917, so I was blown away by this custom racetrack.

It’s a slot car circuit encased on the RCR 917 exactly as the one we had, a perfect reproduction of the car that Vic Elford and Gerald Larrousse drove to victory at the 1971 12 Hours of Sebring:

The RCR 917 is a faithful reproduction with fibreglass body panels true to its original shape. Specifications: rolling aluminium 3-piece original-style centre lock wheels, race-worn tires, working headlights and taillights, and inside…a beautiful 1/32 scale wooden slot car raceway, featuring handcrafted, period-correct signs, banners, aluminium Armco railing, trees and structures.

Beautiful. And expensive, I’m sure. The price is not listed, as they are built to order according to your specifications. [Slotmods via Bornrich]
