Thanks to Facebook I’m able to catch up with friends from high school and college. Also thanks to Facebook I’ve learned that some of my friends from high and college are completely bonkers. Fringe political views, multiple photo postings of their doll collection, and so many cat pictures. Instead of leaving aggressive comments in their latest tirade against the UN, I’m shooting them right in their smug face with Face-Invaders.
What’s it do?
It’s Space Invaders but without the aliens from space. Instead, the creatures you’re shooting are your Facebook BFFs. Tilt the iPhone left or right to move and tap the screen to blast that girl from high school that keeps posting pictures of her kid’s soccer games.
Why do we like it?
Obviously if I didn’t like someone on Facebook I would unfriend them. Then I would send them a text and tell them why they are no longer worthy of my virtual friendship. When they irritate me though, I bite my tongue. The app is a nice way to take out some social networking aggression without hurting anyone’s feelings.
