Twitter has always been good for a spot of celebrity cyber stalking (or so we’re told), but now it’s even more useful, with an Australian app called Currently. The app – available on both iPhone and Android – uses a complex algorithm to scan Twitter for the hottest technology news stories, letting you know what’s happening in the world without making you go and look for it.
The app offers notification alerts for stories that rise up the charts quickly, allowing you to keep informed at all times yet without being snowed under the weight of hundreds of notifications. It offers the ability to share headlines, or store them for reading at a later time, and refreshes its list every 15 minutes.
