George Lucas can release a thousand new versions of the Star Wars films with as many changes as he can imagine, but nothing will even come close to the sheer brilliance of this French disco/ballet interpretation.
From the sparking and blue screen effects that could teach ILM a thing or two about compositing, to the gratuitous use of gold lamé in C3PO’s costume, there is nothing in this video that couldn’t improve either the original Star Wars trilogy or the prequels.
