DIY: 23-Inch Android Tablet

OK, this one’s a bit of a cheat; it’s more like the Frankenstein’s Monster Mix of an existing Android tablet and a touchscreen. Still, a 23-inch Android tablet? That’s going to need one beefy carrying case.

Hack A Day has the details, but to summarise, the recipe involves taking tablets with HDMI output and resistive touchscreen displays and wiring the touchscreen controls from the tablet directly to the touchscreen display. As you can see from the video, it’s not all plain sailing, although I can’t help but think that he could have solved the original problem of the video being upside down by simply turning the 23-inch panel the other way around.
