We've looked at Sony's HD-capable, 3D-ready binoculars previously. Sony's just announced how much these pretty peepers will cost you if you're keen. The DEV-5 binoculars are certainly feature packed. They'll capture 1080p video in either 2D or 3D, and still with a 7.1MP sensor with up to 20x magnification. That kind of tech doesn't come cheap, though, with Sony announcing local availability in November at an asking price of $1999. That's serious bird-watching money, although it's at least equivalent to the American price. [Sony]
