Vodafone Gets HTC Evo 3D Tomorrow

We saw Telstra’s pricing for the HTC EVO 3D yesterday — and most of you weren’t pleased. Vodafone will release the phone tomorrow, and while the pricing may be cheaper, it’s still not that great.

Vodafone’s confirmed that it’ll be releasing the HTC EVO 3D tomorrow to its customers, giving it a head start on Telstra, which won’t have the EVO 3D until next Tuesday. Trevor Long at Your Tech Life got hold of an EVO 3D early, and in his review he claims that Vodafone will announce

that it will make the HTC Evo 3D available as a $15 per month handset fee on the $45 infinite plan over 24 months, or $0 upfront on the $59 Vodafone cap over 24 months. RRP for the device outright will be $849.

The only pricing that Vodafone’s been willing to confirm with me at this stage is that it’ll be $5 per month on a $65 infinite plan over 24 months; they’ve promised me the full pricing matrix later today. Telstra’s pricing for the phone outright at $912 didn’t gain much favour with many of you, commenting that it was rather easily available online for around $550. It looks like Vodafone’s pricing isn’t much better.[Your Tech Life]
