It's not due for release until sometime next year — although I got some hands-on time with it yesterday — but Telstra's already launched a pre-registration page for the HTC 4G phone that'll be its flagship LTE handset. Similar to yesterday's announcement-that-isn't-an-iPhone-announcement-because-Apple-might-get-irritated by Vodafone, you can't actually do much at this stage except express interest in the HTC 4G at Telstra's pre-registration page. Google quietly released a new Chromecast device at its big event this week. And by quietly, I mean the company didn’t mention it at all.
