Cooking with the iPad is great if you don’t mind a greasy screen or you enjoy washing your hands every time you need to navigate on device’s touchscreen. Of course, you always have the option to wrap the thing in plastic wrap.
But! Before you bust out the Saran Wrap, Belkin just announced a dash of cooking accessories for the iPad-enabled chefs out there. The Chef Stand + Stylus is a hand-washable system that keeps your greasy fingers off your iPad while you prepare delicious meals. The non-slip stand has two viewing angles, while the stylus rests in a separate storage stand. The magnetic tip of the stylus works with any touchscreen, so you can also send SMS messages on your iPhone or Android handset while cooking.
If you’re rocking the iPad 2, and have counter space issues, the Fridge Mount keeps the iPad off the counter. This is great in small kitchens where counter space is limited. The iPad can also be used as the worlds most expensive grocery list.
The less elegant Kitchen Cabinet Mount looks like those under-the-cabinet TV mounts from the ’80s. The mount will work with any 7-inch to 10-inch tablet and according to Belkin can be installed and removed without the use of tools. Perfect, because it’s only a matter of time before I end up hitting it with a blender.
