Together, Bill Day and Ryan Whare are Electrocado – local electronic musicians who produce beautiful, skittery, melodic glitch music. They’ve also studied at SAE Sydney, where they built this crazy little robot percussionist you’ll see in action after the jump. I’m a sucker for minor scales and xylophones, so yeah, nice job guys!
This isn’t the first time I’ve seen robotic percussion, but you’ve got to support local talent…and I dig that the robot isn’t playing everything we can hear. If you like these sort of sounds, you can check out more of the duo’s tracks at: [Electrocado via Create Digital Music]
