I usually don’t like robots. Not my style, really. So what is it about these bots? The spunky ponytail made from wires? The CD hips? I don’t know but I think I’m in love. Too bad these “girls” are only advertisements for a gym.
Made by Murilo Melo, its a series of posters for Companhia Athletica Gyms in Brazil. They’re clever as hell, as the men and women in these posters are shaped and formed from the technology that makes us lazy: computers, TVs, video games, etc. The theme of the ad is to “switch your routine for ours”, which makes so much sense I want to hug it. I do wonder if this is more effective than putting attractive humans on the poster though. For a behind the scenes look at how these were made, check out Troque sua rotina.
