Brunswick became the first mainland metropolitan centre to receive the NBN yesterday. Sure, only a handful of houses are live there ahead of a wider October release, but Coffs Harbour, Armidale, Townsville and Kiama are all coming online. Trials also continue in Tasmania, and we now know which towns will be part of the second stage fibre, and first stage fixed wireless rollouts.
