A Tent For Your Hammock. Oh Hell Yes.

I will brazenly declare my love for hammocks right now. In a perfect world, that’s all I’d sleep in when I camp, but they have problems, namely bugs and rain. This tent for hammock just answered my prayers.

The Hammock Bliss Sky Tent is a work of art. You hang your hammock from a couple trees with this tent around it. You’re then ensconced by ultrafine no-see-um mesh, which to keeps the bugs off but grants a clear clear view of your surroundings. Above, a giant rainfly keeps you dry and below, you a nylon base reflects back your body heat. It looks very roomy, and it even has space for hanging your big ole’ backpack so your gear stays dry, too. I. Want. This.

The downsides are that it’s definitely only for warm weather camping. I mean, you could bring a sleeping bag in there with you, of course, but I don’t think it would keep you very dry in a serious storm (with rain coming in sideways). Setup looks a bit tricky too. Whatever. It’s a tent for my hammock, it will keep mosquitos and alligators off of me, so gimme gimme gimme! It retails for $US120. [Hammock Bliss via Get Outdoors]
