World’s First WP7 Mango Handset Is Coming To Japan

More good news for Japan. Earlier this month, it was a nail-biting victory in the Women’s World Cup, and now the island country will be the first in the world to receive a Windows Phone 7 Mango handset.

Both Fujitsu and Japanese wireless carrier KDDI confirmed they will launch a Mango-powered handset in September. The first-to-market Toshiba-Fujitsu IS12T is your standard Windows Phone handset with a 3.7-inch display and a 1GHz CPU. Tailor-made for the Japanese market, it’ll be available in a variety of colours including neon yellow and pink. [TechCrunch]
