Watch The Simpsons On This LED Video Coat

Dave Forbes is the proud owner of a 160×120 LED video coat that puts Joseph’s Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to shame. It covers him front to back and plays The Simpson‘s episodes in a full body, colour display.

It’s a wearable NTSC television made of circuit boards and LED flex boards hot-glued to a standard lab coat. It accepts input from an iPod and can display text, images or video. It even has knobs to adjust the colour, brightness of the media. The whole creation is powered by battery and lasts about an hour.

Forbes didn’t create this coat just for kicks. He’s going to wear it to Burning Man later this year where it’s bound to be a hit. [Cathode Corner via Geekologie and Dvice]
