This Is Probably The Slowest Instant Camera Ever

Niklas Roy is a self-described inventor of useless thing and among his creations is an Electronic Instant Camera. It’s an interesting hybrid that uses a black & white video camera and a thermal printer to produce an instant photo.

The camera is not for the faint of heart. The setup is so limited in memory that the camera has to forget the content of each line that is printed before it can capture the next one. As a result, it takes an agonizing three minutes to capture and print a photo. Choose your subject wisely as he or she has to sit absolutely still the entire time.
