Vea’s new digital Sportive mobile watch is the swiss army knife of watches. Except it’s not as sleek and much more expensive.
The chubby Sportive has a small 1.5-inch touchscreen screen that shows the time, altitude and a variety of workout information. It’s also an MP3 player with 8GB of onboard storage and Bluetooth connectivity.
On top of all that, the watch has basic phone functionality which makes it very similar to a feature phone. In fact, you may want to save yourself some cash and grab a cheap Nokia phone instead.
The Vea watch will ship on July 14 for a low introductory price of €399 ($538) and will climb to a pricey €499 ($673) in September. At those prices, you could grab 10 Nokia phones with matching arm bands and wear a different one each day. [Vea Digital via Engadget]
