LINK Grips Make Tongs Out Of ANYTHING

If MacGuyver could take down an international crime syndicate with a paper clip, two pieces of chewing gum and yesterday’s issue of USA Today, imagine what he could do with these LINK grips that make one-handed tongs out of just about anything.

The LINK grips, created by Konstantin Slawinski, consist of a small triangular piece of silicone with two slots into which you fit any available flatware to create instant tongs. In the right hands, a fork and spoon become a security system bypass, two spoons become a Roman Candle rocket launcher, and a knife and a choptsick become… some sort of pokey, stabby implement. The LINK is still in prototyping but should be available later this year. [Konstantin Slawinski via Wired]
