We take DSLRs places that delicate equipment really has no business being: mountains, deserts, debaucherous hipster rooftop parties. So a diesel, solid aluminium body cap like the LockCircle is kind of great, instead of the puny plastic one that comes in the box.
The cap’s old-fashioned rotary phone design gives you a solid grip, even when you’re wearing gloves. Right now it’s only available for Canon EF mount cameras, but a Nikon F mount model is forthcoming.
