Dock Connector-USB Hub Hybrid Mitigates MacBook Shortcoming

All MacBooks ever made share two traits: thin, attractive design and a shortage of USB ports. Until now, the only solution was using a fat, ugly USB hub. With this cable-hub-hybrid, you can have your ports and thinness too.

The otherwise normal-looking dock connector cable from DITS has an inline three-port USB hub. That means no longer having to choose between syncing your iPhone, using a mouse, and exercising your USB humping dog – even if you have the single-USB port MacBook Air.

Unfortunately, it has yet to appear in DITS’ online store and there’s no word on pricing or availability. In the meantime, I would be more than OK with Apple copying the design for themselves. [DITSblog via Technobob]
