Next year we could be seeing mobile phones with round displays, if Samsung has anything to say about it. The first thing that springs to mind is that it might be for some kind of wearable mobile phone, wrapping around a wrist.
Samsung’s already shown off a prototype 4.5-inch flexible AMOLED display, which could be used in this new product, but I do have to wonder about the use of such a portable device.
