Dutch Building Looks Like It Landed On The Surface Of Mars

Architecture firms tend to use their offices as a giant business card they can work inside. Decos’ is no exception – except it looks like an astronaut base, not a Dutch headquarters. Their inspiration? A meteorite impact.

The building itself is situated in a business park dedicated to space-related commerce, so the other-planetary design should fit right in. Thematically, at least. But does it really look like a meteorite? It strikes me more as an interstellar probe that’d sweep up meteorite dust. I don’t know how anyone could get any work done in a building like this – the fact that the floors are partially detached from the building’s walls might make it even harder to concentrate.
