A day after they announced their Skype partnership, Comcast says that they plan on bringing Facebook and more to their customers living rooms. Their new service will be called MyTV.
Comcast is also be working with Intel and other companies to turn the service into a personal experience. That means search, weather, and traffic apps along with being able to “Like” your favourite TV shows in Facebook. And with Skype, you’ll be able to carry on a video call throughout.
MyTV is going to be demonstrated this Thursday at the Cable Show in Chicago. So expect more announcements and pricing details when the big show comes. [The Hollywood Reporter]
