You know, that ridiculous 85-inch Sharp Super Hi-Vision TV with 33,177,600 pixels needs some sort of ridiculous content to fill itself out. Thankfully, Sharp made this ridiculous 33MP Super Hi-Vision camera to be the perfect companion to the TV.
The camera isn’t too big (relatively speaking) and is unique because it uses a single image sensor with four chip colour imaging which lets it bang up a ton o’ megapixels (each chip being capable of eight million pixels). It’s just a prototype but they’re hoping to bring this kind of technology to consumer products but I’m just left wondering which Super Hi-Vision needs the other more, the TV or the camera?
