Because of the frostbite, Naki’o’s paws were rendered into rounded stubs. To move he had to crawl around the veterinary clinic. Christie Tomlinson, bless her heart, a veterinary technician, organised a fundraiser to outfit Naki’o with prosthetics for his two back legs.
