Search Globe Shows You What The Rest Of The World Is Searching

When I say, “Google that”, you know exactly what I mean. And after you see Google’s new visualisation, Search Globe, you’ll realise how many other countries (and people in them) think the same way.

This new tool, created by the Google Data Arts Team, shows you one day’s worth of Google searches – on a global scale. Google’s pretty quiet about exactly how many searches that is, but I’d say we can safely settle on “a lot“. The graphic also colour codes the queries by language in case you were (egotistically) wondering who else searches just like you.

Unfortunately, it’s only viewable on WebGL-enabled browsers. (Hmm, I wonder why.) [Office Google Blog via TechCrunch]
