Microsoft-Backed E-Reader Tablet Loves To Share With Others

Few e-readers are as intimate as this prototype from Nicholas Chen. Look how they communicate in that video! The only caveat it’s backed by Microsoft Research. We all know what happened the last time they teased something like this.

For the video adverse, the clip—after we navigate the unique intro—shows Chen demoing his e-reader, with a focus on link sharing between two devices, as well as the magnets that allow two devices to sync up and display a muli-page document. It’s simple docking, in a completely clean and PG rating kind of way.

All very simple, all very prototype. [Engadget]
