Jawbone Era Brings Motion Controls To Bluetooth

If you’ve ever used a Bluetooth headset and wondered what it would be like to shake the thing until it does what you want it to, then wonder no more. The Jawbone Era headset has just been announced for Australia for $149.

The device uses motion controls to pair the device, while you can start and end calls by tapping the headset. In addition, the Era supports limited apps, and can be customised thanks to its relatively improved processing power.

Add in HD Audio (potentially useful if we ever see the local Telcos offer it in Australia), noise cancellation and funky designs, and the Era is as nice a Bluetooth headset proposition as you’re likely to find these days.
