It looks like it’s time to send our designer Ben back into the wild, with Contour announcing the latest addition to its hands-free rugged camcorders, the Contour+.
The latest Contour camera has a bigger lens than the HD and GPS cameras Ben checked out on his Man vs Wild canoeing adventure, which was one of his biggest complaints about the previous models. Also added is a 2.5mm microphone jack to separate featured audio from background noise.
The camera supports the Bluetooth streaming to an iPhone app that makes the Conotur relatively unique, while an integrated HDMI port allows Full-HD streaming video.
For $699, it’s a pretty tempting offer for the outdoorsy-types…
