BlackBerry Travel Gives You A Travel Agent In Your Phone

Somewhere in the Allure Media offices, BlackBerry using and frequent flying Lifehacker editor Angus Kidman is celebrating the announcement of the BlackBerry Travel app.

The new app is designed to let BlackBerry users plan, book, manage and share travel activities from the convenience of their qwerty keypad.

The app will automatically pull out itinerary data from confirmation emails, plus allow users to do the standard travel things of checking flight times, while monitoring your planned trip to make sure you haven't missed any key bookings.

The app is still in beta, and available for the Bold, Curve, Storm and Torch lineup of handsets. It's also free, which makes it a mandatory download for BlackBerry owners.
