Forget the ’60s Space Race between Russia and the US: the current Lego tower pissing match between Brazil and Chile is waaaaaaaaay more compelling.
Chile set the illustriousworld Lego tower record six months ago, piecing together a structure comprised entirely of the little plastic bricks which stood at 30.94 metres. Then the Brazilians came along this past weekend and one upped the Chileans with a tower that took four days to build and is 31.19 metres tall. Surely, Chile has to respond. RIGHT?! [CNN and Buzzfeed]
