Three Kinect Cameras And One 3D Printer For Instant Self Souvenirs

Earlier this year, the tinkerers at blablabLAB set up an installation in Barcelona that used three Kinect sensors and one cheap 3D printer to allow passersby to create tiny souvenir statues of themselves. Strike a pose, any pose, and the rig could quickly churn out an impressively accurate model. Pretty cool! My only Barcelona souvenir is a mini notebook with a drawing of one of those lizards from the Gaudi park on the front. [PopSci]
