YouTube might currently be chock full of unauthorised movies, but now they've struck a deal with major Hollywood studios to bring new, legal movies to their site as well.
They've had a movie rental system in place since January, but the selection to this point has been largely of the never-heard-of-it variety. No word on what rental fees for the mainstream flicks might be yet, but the previous rate has been $US4 for a 48-hour rental window.
Update: Looks like there are a handful of studios holding out - namely, Fox and Paramount - which is delaying the launch. [The Wrap]
