Last night HTC announced that its next Android smartphone launching in Australia would be none other than the Incredible S, which will land on Optus on May 1. Who’s excited?
The handset, which will run Gingerbread on a 4-inch super LCD 480 x 800 touchscreen, is most notable for featuring a weird bubble design on its back. As Seamus here in the office described it, “it’s weird.” He did clarify by saying that it wasn’t bad, but would more likely turn people off than get people excited.
No pricing yet (that would make my job too easy), but expect it to appear on Optus’s standard smartphone plans with $0 upfront options.
