If you’re an HBO subscriber, the upcoming HBO Go app will let you stream HBO’s entire catalogue of very excellent shows and various movies to iOS and Android devices.
So that means every episode of every season of The Sopranos, The Wire, Deadwood, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, and I’m sure there are more awesome shows, will be available on your iOS or Android device.
But sadly, it has the same requirements of the desktop version HBO Go, which requires an HBO subscription and is only allowed on the right cable providers. I’d rather just pay HBO directly than go through those jokers. HBO Go is supposed to become available on both platforms in early May. [Engadget]
