BlackBerry Monaco Leaks Out Again, But Won’t Be Official Until May

Looking like a BlackBerry Storm, but rumoured to be an entirely new product, this BlackBerry Monaco/Monza (name dependent on which network it arrives at – the former is for Verizon, the latter the global version) has been fondled by BGR.

The site has reported that not only is it thinner and faster than previous touchscreen phones from RIM, it will also run OS 6.1. A new feature for the OS will be the BlackBerry ID, which is set to replace the PIN, and might just be BlackBerry’s entry into cloud services. None of this has been confirmed obviously, but with BGR reporting that the Monaco will be announced in May at BlackBerry World, it’s not too long to wait. [BGR]
